ABOUT

Payge Mynhier has built her career through dedication, hard work, and a true passion for horses. She has worked her way up in the equine industry over the years gaining valuable experience alongside top professionals. Today, she is proud to lead her own program, M/R Performance Horses.

Originally from a small town in Indiana, Payge spent her early years riding across various disciplines. She began barrel racing at a young age, competing successfully at local shows and 4-H events for over a decade. Her professional experience started with stall cleaning at a local barn, eventually leading her to a training facility where she rode and groomed.

In 2022, Payge earned a degree in Equine Physiology from the College of Central Florida. While in Florida, she gained experience exercising racing Thoroughbreds before working for NCHA trainer of 40 years, Gary Moore, who holds over $297,000 in lifetime earnings. Under his mentorship, Payge competed in the cutting pen, honed her skills in fine-tuning finished horses, and developed expertise in starting young horses.

Following her time in Florida, Payge relocated to Tennessee, where she worked as an assistant trainer for Kody Russell, a former NRHA trainer and judge who now specializes in western performance horses. During this time, she deepened her knowledge of building strong foundations in young horses and polishing finished performance horses.

Through a lifetime of hands-on experience and continued education, Payge brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and passion to M/R Performance Horses, offering a program dedicated to developing top-tier performance horses.
